How many cookies can I give my dog each day?
Treats should never make up more than 10% of your dogs caloric needs. Generally this means one or two treats per day but this depends on the size of your dog and the size of the treat.
Do you have any treats without wheat?
Of course! Currently our wheat free treats are "Peanut Butter 'n' Honey" (We use chick peas and brown rice instead of wheat in these treats), and "Sweet Potato Chips".
What do you use as a preservative?
We don't use ANY artificial preservatives, colours or flavours in our high quality treats. The treats are preserved through our baking process, cooled, and then vacuum packed for freshness.
How long will the treats keep?
Through our baking process our treats have a long expiration date, but we recommend feeding them within a few months of opening.
Once opened we suggest storing them in a sealed metal, creamic, or glass cookie jar. Plastic is NOT a good idea. It traps in moisture and can cause the treats to expire quickly.
We like to use mason jars and have tested some of our treats to last more than a year in these!
My dog is on a special diet and it is difficult to find treats he is allowed to eat. Can you help me?
You bet! We believe there is a treat for every dog. We love creating new recipes to fit special needs so contact us. We want to help!
